Robert Kerbel, Ph.D.

Dr. Kerbel is Director of Cancer Biology Research at the Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre and Toronto-Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre, and is also the John & Elizabeth Tory Chair of Experimental Oncology at the University of Toronto. He is internationally recognized for his achievements, spanning 30 years, in several areas of cancer research, including metastasis, drug resistance, and tumor angiogenesis, and is the author of over 200 publications. Dr. Kerbel is a member of the editorial board of a number of scientific journals, including the American Journal of Pathology, Neoplasia, and Clinical Cancer Research, and is Editor-in-Chief of Cancer & Metastasis Reviews.
